>Live in apartment complex >Two weeks ago, a woman moved in above me with her 4 kids >Loud as fuck >Run, scream, stomp, jump, slam into walls, etc. >After a few days, I start hitting the ceiling with a broom >Noise doesn't stop >Often gets louder as she's trying to corral her children >Complain to front office >They got a warning letter >I know this because I hear a scream later that night "THIS IS WHAT STOMPING IS!!!" and stomped on the floor 7 times as loud as possible. >Next day I get a polite letter that Reddit very obviously helped this woman craft >tells me her children are inside all day due to corona and to please contact her if it gets too loud >Very next day it's loud as fuck again >Hit ceiling >She leaves another letter asking me what she should do and to please not contact the office >I feel a bit bad for her and write a polite letter back stating that I understand her situation but to please encourage her kids not to be loud as shit indoors and I'll try to tolerate some of the noise >Wake up today >They are louder than ever, can hear the mom screaming at her children that they're going to get evicted >She might seriously wind up homeless during the pandemic if I or someone else reports her again
Should I even feel bad for ratting on this woman and possibly getting her booted during the pandemic or is it her fault for not controlling her kids? I'm not the only neighbor she's bothering, tons of people have complained(the front office told me themselves), but I'm the only one directly confronting her about it. This building was very quiet before she showed up. But if I report her one more time she might actually be homeless. Wat do?
Get her evicted user. I bet each kid has a different dad too.

I don't know, personally dealing with this personally with my uncles 3 kids I usually just have headphones in and listen to music.
If needed, buy some soundproofing, its pretty useful in more then just this situation. Goodluck user.

don't get her evicted, she's in a shitty situation, just put up with it a bit. Play some music really loudly or something to cover the noise or get some headphones. Annoying af but beats randomly make a small family homeless, and especially right now.

Many countrys already made new laws because of corona and people can't end up homeless because landlords are no longe allowed to kick tenants out durring a pandemic. So if you are not living in a 3th world country or the USA you have to deal with your trash neighbour until corona is over, but then she will most likely end up homeless

I live in the US. I would think that removing tenants would only apply to non-payment of rent and that problem residents could still be removed? Although maybe you're right and it's all off the table.

Are you questioning yourself for expecting a normal environment within your own domicile? Rules are rules, if she can't abide then she must be rewarded with the consequences. It's a shame tho overall, but why feel bad when it is you who suffers and had nothing to do with her life which has led her to this moment and situation.

Bruh it’s obvious she makes poor decisions get her out. My neighbor kept letting their dog out who kept attacking local dogs. I raise a couple pit bulls for agility and weightpull trials for fun. We spent 20k walking off a couple acres with 10ft wooden walls, it’s large enough we occasionally let friends train service dogs in it. Anyway for a year this dog goes around attacking other dogs, sometimes from our property to the point I’ve got bitched at about controlling animals by other neighbors because it’s using my yard as an ambush point, and have to show them I only raise dogs that pull Volkswagens for fun. Anyway similar situation, I tolerated it way too long, until their dog came over and bit one of my dogs. Muzzle bites are an automatic disqualification on extremely expensive thousands of dollars animals and it was then I got the dog warden, lawyers involved. I regret I didn’t act sooner. Women who burn coal can only make terrible life decisions and will do anything to escape consequences. That coalburner with the dog did the same thing, lied said mine got loose etc etc, only she didn’t know I had cameras and I’m buddies with the dog warden’s boss. She’s got your number, she will lie, cheat, steal and do anything she can to avoid taking responsibility and will try to fuck you over. Document everything, give nothing, let her deal with the consequences. It’s not your fault and you are entitled to your space and peace of mind.
Continue to report, user. Your sleep and your life matters. Look into getting a house ASAP. No dad, eh? That's why they act like this and don't listen to her.
