But anyone with any muscle mass above average will be placed into the obese category according to the BMI, and the US has way more muscle % than any other country, something like 300%.
If they were to measure bodyfat % several european countries would be ahead of the US, mexico, Canada, australia, and most of the Mediterranean would all be fatter than the US as well.
