This is going to upset some folk, but I have gotten to the point where I just don't care anymore. Even IF we manage to develop something to combat the Corona virus. It is going to remain in the world in some form. While it's got a 98% survival rate, people are still dropping like flies.
Give it that a majority are the elderly or those with a poor immune system. perhaps we should move forward and try to get back to some sort of normality. Get back to work, get industry going once more. People die every day. More people die from Influenza, or motor vehicle related deaths. Suicide rates are higher! The HIV/AIDS Virus kills people in the thousands every day and yet we hear nothing about that.
Vaccine, or no vaccine, we should just bite the bullet and get back to our lives.

Exactly. The lockdown is not only having absolutely devastating effects on businesses, large and small. Just think of the impact on people's mental health and physical health when they are stuck inside. Not able to get out in nature, or go to the gym, or socialise etc. Lockdown is not the answer. Wrecking the world economy and ruining people's livelihoods and businesses is not the answer.
