Ironically this is the reason Horikoshi made Bakugo this way imo. He's so hateable you'd think Deku would hate the shit out of him too. But the fact that he only sees the good in Bakugo is one of Deku's key traits. Especially after gaining the power to literally floor him and even straight up kill him. The fact that he doesn't is a testament to his morals. Also we're all waiting for the day for Bakugo to officially recognize him as his equal, after an entire life of looking down on him, it will be a very emotional moment for Deku and by proxy the audience.
