Mostly just experience which you can lie about along with degree if you sell it well enough. If you know basic html, css, JavaScript and maybe react or angular you can do front end work easily compared to most Indians that saturate the market. Look for a big company like a bank or one that works in financials and it's easy. It took me about 12 years of various IT job upgrades to get here tho. Always be looking and never settle.
