What's your opinion on String Theory?
What's your opinion on String Theory?

God's spaghetti.
What kind of sauce you think god put on it? Probably ketchup because he's an asshole
I'm just waiting for them to post evidence. I'm a Many Worlds believer instead.
sweet pickle relish.
You mean multiverse? Like everything that could happen, every little chance makes a new universe where it happened or didn't happen?
I think this stems from our tiny human brains that evolved to not get eaten by lions working with infinities. Things that can infinitely regress aren't very compelling imo. If there's a multiverse then why wouldn't there be a multi-multiverse and so on? This is why I don't think it's reasonable it exists.
You're asking the morons on Yas Forums?
Oh yes I am.
So you are pretty much saying that the universe is not infinite and that there is nothing infinite, so do you think there are boundaries to the known and unknown everything?
I don't know if it's infinite or not. I'm saying imo it's much more reasonable to assume space is limited in some way a la how we used to think time was eternal and that the universe always existed. Now we know that not to be the case. And imo the multiverse theories main justification is that space or at least what space is expanding into, could be infinite as well. So far tho, light has a speed limit, time started, everything has a boundary. I think the science behinds space's is just so complex it'll take a while for us to understand why the multiverse can't be true.
cats absolutely love them.
To quote Stephen Hawking "the only boundaries to the universe is that there are no boundaries" at least that's what I remember the quote said.
mm picklesketti
Okay and to quote some random dude from neolithic times "Sun come up again, thank sun goddess". Facts don't have to be objective truths, they can also be things that just aren't in dispute. That doesn't mean better evidence can't roll around. Not in any way bashing you for your belief I'm just explaining why I myself don't find it convincing.
Its a theory
Understandable, it is your opinion after. Shit forgot it's Yas Forums for a moment, shut the fuck up faggot
A string theory
kek
intellectual masturbation
I have noticed that some thoeries became in some aspects similar to beliefs and religions among atheists and the science community and I'm not really sure what's my opinion on that.
the LHC pretty much proved it beyond reasonable doubt.
Wat
I don't know anything about it very much. Could you give me a quick rundown?
>THERE'S VOMIT ON HIS GALAXY ALREADY
>GOD'S SPAGHETTI
"No boundaries" doesn't mean it's infinite.
It only means that there's potentially no end to the universe's expansion.
It's space-time that is expanding, but nothing can exist outside of it.
You should use string builders instead of concatenation.
Needs to be pondered from a perspective that loop quantum and string are both different facets of a shape [the universe…(zzzzz...)] that we don't yet have enough to combine, neither should be dismissed or unconsidered; though it seems genders have a predictable preference in statistical outcome.
string theory = failed next generation quantum mechanics
No predictions. No data.
The difference is we have data, circumstantial evidence and most importantly math to support them. Religious people also vehemently deny even the possibility that they could wrong. And proceed to shove their ideas down your throat until you believe them too. Scientists are in no such way as nonsensical as they are.
I'm in no way qualified but basically string theory IIRC is the attempt to understand gravity on the quantum scale by stating that everything(and thus by proxy gravity) is made up of vibrations in tiny strings instead of being physical particles and atoms like we currently understand.
Religion is by far just a way to give people comfort but explaining the unknown with the simplest way they can, yet science strive to prove that unknown and make it known something which the religious don't do because they prefer to stay in their comfort zone of lies because it makes them feel better and not try to find an explanation in the harder way.
I don't have an opinion on it
