The world we will witness as we age inevitably will bring us to upset over its degeneracy. This is the path of life, always has been. It is the result of two factors. As we age our perception of time passing slows so we allow days, weeks, months to pass with little consideration of the world evolving around us. As well, we have better formulated values and models for the way we interact with the world. As we solidify our models of the world, the world is changing beyond us and leaves us with things we disagree with.
It is important to remember that these are not all leading straight to hell. Some retract while others are growing. These changes of morals are on a longer time scale than human generations, but we don't tend to observe trends across long history, so they seem like new and threatening curves toward greater problems.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, look again. They look into the camera with very specific faces and facial gestures. I've seen that "face" and those "faces" before. I saw them when a woman was ready to go or telling me she wanted to. I know that face. It's unmistakable. These teens (and tweens) are wearing the same expressions. And why not? They're imitating the thots of my generation.
