yeah if being able to literally write letters makes you a "decent artist" in your opinion, then yeah. We all can be very decent.

Do what you enjoy, let the others fuck off, I love seeing people do what they love, whether it's what I enjoy or not. Especially skillful things. I do ceramics myself but do not have a steady enough hand to do any writing/drawing forms of art. Doesn't help that I use the hand of the devil.

I would torrent some books on letter design, general art tips (such as using negative space, color, shading, etc) to help add some life to these.
Otherwise, keep at it.
