its a shitty tile roof; coulda gotten the nice modern shingles 10 years ago, but nooooo, he wanted the old classic shit (thats actually more expensive as well).
the water is punching through somehow and running down a diagonal roof beam, then i think pooling to a new spot. it sucks, white human problems, at least we dont have a shitty corrugated steel roof.

I thought metal roofs were good and durable if they're installed properly, but it's been a while since I had any involvement with roofs, used to sell paint to roofers in florida. Tile roofs look nice but yeah I do seem to remember them needing more frequent maintenance, though that could just be due to florida climate. In any case I hope you can get to the bottom of it before more rain.
