It's literally just a variation of the cold, and is not an issue by itself at all. It's necause it targets the cells in your lungs responsible for opening and closing the airways in your lung tissue. They fill with fluid (water, pus from the immune response, any other junk that piles up) this cascades to pneumonia because you can't properly remove fluids like normal, and into multiple organ failure because of the lack of oxygen.

Strangely there is no media coverage of all the empty hospitals in NYC, the empty tents outside, etc. The only thing we see are constant news reports with increasing numbers or the convenient movie stars speaking out how they got corona. Something isn't right about any of it.
