really, I said this yesterday but the methods you guys use will nver get the full one cuz you're losing stuff since you're not doing it the proper way... you probably jsut overlaying many and trying to find matches... there is legit stuff that appears when you use the legit method... for example this is how the image looks after the real method has been applied and it's a perfectly black and white code with all the infos.

A script would actually be easy to write and streamline this process. They're not entire programs per se but a list of programs to run and how to run them. He likely wrote a script that uses some library to generate the QR code, executes an Imagemagick command to place it on the image and lower it's opacity, then uses the steganography library to place subtext in the image.
If he actually wrote a script for this it would just be a matter of specifying the qr code content, image to be hidden in and the steg content. Way quicker than fucking around in photoshop.
There's something with the QR code where it's Stars and has Gradients or something? That's what he said. That would be very inconvenient because it means we have to get some new program just to read the damn thing. You're right, too much data loss.
