How much money do you have NET right now?
Net means what money you have saved SUBTRACTED FROM YOUR DEBTS.
ie. You have $10k saved...but $40k in debt. Your net worth is NEGATIVE $30k.
I'll go first: $8k.

Savings is for people who don't have gf or know any whores. prove me wrong.
215k usd
25 years old and have 48k
Age 40, approx $1.2 million net PRIOR to COVID-19.
About 50% of that is in the mutual fund market, so it must be down to about $900k net during the past 4-5 weeks. I don't check balances...it's all just noise.
I don't care...that money is invested for the very long term. I don't use that money and it has no effect on my very simple lifestyle.
Almost $9k but I'm about to buy a car so effectively none
Depends on what you're really counting. If you only count money that is accessible (in a back, not tied up in a 401k, equity value, assets, etc) then I'm -100k+
If you do count home equity, value of assets, retirement accounts etc then I have a +100k net.
Negative $543000
30 years old
No debt (yet)
$75k in bank for rainy day and future house down payment
$25k in 401k

My quads don't lie
Ireland.
I'm also one.
Why are you keeping so much money in checking accounts???
aww look at the neet incel
Well. The mortgage makes sure I'm in debt for a lot.
Like minus 130k, or half that if you take into account that my wife and I are technically both responsible for the mortgage.
10-15k student debt. 0% interest,
Germany
Almost all of them, so long as one of the 2 nationalities is Third World.
3k. A little more and it will be drift car time!
Believe me, It has been an on going battle with my wife. I have my own account and got tired of fighting about it.
No?
>net
-103k plus or minus, but it's "good" debt. 27 y/o with my own home, 2017 Sahara, 768 credit score, and a guaranteed non-taxed 3500 monthly check. Everything else I earn is icing.
Why don’t you sell and buy property?
You should tell her for every $100,000 that sits in that checking account it is $6,000/yr in missed income you guys are missing out over the long term. If you can half-time this down-turn right you might be forgoing $30,000 or more this year.
15k
34, +150k net
ITT: fags and cucks larp about how they have a bunch of equity.
Wow and they say millenials can't afford shit or can be in a good financial place.
Liquid cash? about 42k.
Investments and properties? About 350k.
What do savings accounts do in terms of interest where you people are at?
Here, unless you actually invest the cash, it matters almost nothing if you leave it in a checking account or put it in a savings account. Unironically 0.03% interest rates.. It doesn't become interesting until you invest it in some way or other, and it's really only worth it if you lock it for 5 years or more.
Yes. I have both US and German passports.
high yield savings are around 1.7-2.0% apy in the US
total stock market / s&p 500 trackers (e.g., $vstax, $swppx) return 6-10% historically in the past 10 years depending on how you measure the return
Mine with TD bank is incredibly shitty. I should really move some money out of it
We where talking about buying In while everything is so low but we where also wanting to see if the housing market crashes and if we could buy a home pretty much outright because it will basically tripple its value, in my area, when the market goes back up.
This thread is boring. All of you are boring.
Money is evil and you're all obsessed with hoarding it. That's sad.
hsbc, marcus by goldman sachs, american express, discover, ally all have online high yield savings that take about 2 seconds to sign up for and iirc they are all over 1.5% apy
I was raised to never take on more than I could handle & I never bought into loans and unnecessary credit card debt. $14k
Ive never seen so many liars in one spot before
imagine telling people that work for a living they're obsessed with hoarding while they're trying to pay their mortgage and loans and shit, while jeff bezos hoards $80 billion dollars
you're a moron who would kill a guy with $1,000 while standing in the building owned by the guy who has $5,000,000, and acting like you're morally righteous for it
does my debt count if I'm refusing to pay it?
If so I have $0.
>Money is evil and you're all obsessed with hoarding it. That's sad.
That's exactly what a pleb would say. Fuck off poorfag.
Do you not have jews or niggers where you live?
>I dont have any money and it's not fair that you do
FTFY commie scum
lol this guy is broke for sure
Not sure, never seen either here.
I have a mortgage. The equity in the house is greater than the debt.
About $170K net.
>Must be up to his dreadlocks in debt
Evil demonic people going to hell for sure.
>Define evil
23, 66k
I have about 120k net that I can touch. I also have a 1.9 million trust that I cannot touch until I am 50. Hope I live that long.
Nah but for real anyone on 4chins is going to be poor as fuck, retarded, a criminal, a NEET or lying.
Damn, 50? Usually you can access trust funds at 25 or 30. 50 seems excessive, you've lived half your life at that point.
Uh, literally everyone is quarantined and teleworking and doing fuck all right now man. It's prime time for anyone to be on this shit fucking around in the middle of the day
$105K
feelin bretty good rn
Sauce on the woman?
Yea, it was stipulated in the will, my sister is in the same boat but she is much younger than me. Oh well, I'm still living comfortably and have a nice nest egg.
with the latest fed rate cuts my high yield savings is only 1.5%
shes from porn
Ah yes because people doing well in life aren't doing anything else at all besides go on this trashfire of a website
my marcus account is at 1.7 still
speak for yourself, people that make/have a lot of money aren't half as productive as you think, and that's truer the richer they are
I'm doing pretty well, I still come to this dumpster fire and I'm nearly 40. Probably should stop because it's just porn and psyop/bot spam these days.
I can actually see the logic, you basically have a decent retirement locked in regardless of how successful you are in your career, instead of blowing it all on nonsense.
