BODMAS or PEMDAS, your phone is wrong because some calcs don't do the orders of operations properly.
This tripped me up for a moment as well because the answer is 1 but I plugged it into my calc to be sure and it gave me 9, which seemed bullshitty.

Not all of them. I know that seems really weird, but some calcs are programmed to just go straight left-to-right which is as retarded as it sounds.
