I dunno. Having renters sucks. I hate them. At the same time, yeah, banks should have some loan forgiveness right now. Even if they tack the payments on the end of the loan, interest free. It would make a lot of sense overall. Then renters and owners would be happy. It's shitty times. People need their money to buy toilet paper.

It's a commonly known fact you're supposed to have at least a year's worth of tenant rent saved for shit like this. Guess it's not too common. How is your situation any different from them? Why should they have to pay you their life savings so you don't have to spend yours? Someone further up should pay it, right, why not the banks? The money has a far smaller impact on you than them, and on the banks than you. The fact that you're asserting your class-power (assuming that it's trivial for them to save up enough money), and that they aren't saving money because they're inferior as people, is your flaw.

If tenants refuse to pay rent you are within your rights to kick them the fuck out. If they refuse to vacate, call the cops. They signed the lease, if they refuse to honor it they're out on their asses.

Besides the fact that you shouldn't of "bought" a house without having all the cash in full, most banks have suspended mortgage payments for like a year. So, like with your initial gamble of using cash that isn't yours to pay for these places (so technically they belong to the bank anyways until you pay them off), you also screwed up on your choice of bank(s). neither of which is your tenants fault or problem. what you should be worrying about more is your gambling addiction, hopefully this site can help you (add a "." where the space is):

Again deferments are available at the bank, 90 grace period and fee forgiveness. No double or triple the payment just extends the mortgage if you want or just overpaid when you get it or whatever. You're not a real landlord if niggers and chinks can figure this out.
