I work in the safety industry and I can say not a single employee at our company is using a mask. We all know they are dust masks, nothing more.
The only thing that is effective is a full blown SCBA with full face, positive pressure mask or p100 filters.
All masks and cartridges are single use and you'll probably infect yourself while removing them or storing them in your home.
