PC continued to brick itself with BRAND NEW RAM, now stuck in fucking loop of Preparing Automatic Repair and "Disk Errors" even though it's running in a fucking VM.

You might have a bad RAM stick. That happens w/ high end memory. Try booting w/ just one at a time, and see if any fail. Then RMA the whole batch if even one fails.
Don't buy cheap ram from Taiwan ram next time

I mean, honestly, for ease of use a Mac is the way to go. People always rip on them because they’re expensive, but they (usually) always just work. I’ve deployed dozens of Macs over the years at work and have had zero issues, except for a few broken keyboard keys. Windows PC’s on the other hand...
Did you even use ram that's compatible with your motherboard or did you just look at the #s bought
