Bloodborne is excellent and as long as you're good at it the Platinum is significantly easier than any other souls games. Even Sekiro. I think DKS3 took me the longest to platinum, but Sekrio was a close second. I'm happy for you that you get to experience this for the first time, Bloodborne is probably my favorite game next to classic FF7

It's honestly amazing! I love the aesthetics, the lore, the sick-ass viscerals, the weapons (decided to own the Stake Driver against my brother's advice), just everything. Everything but the chalice dungeons. They're cool at first but it loses a lot of fun really quick. Can't wait to move on to the rest of the Souls games!

Stake driver is a cool weapon, a bit harder to use for newer players but if it works for you then all the better. And yes, the chalice dungeons are a neat concept and a great way to farm rare bloodgems and stuff, but you can easily get tunnel vision going through them. You're gunna have to grind then for the Platinum though unfortunately. But I think that's the most grindy thing you'll have to do to get the Platinum. You do have to get all three endings also, but honestly starting new builds is half the fun. Like one quality build for strength weapons, a good bloodtinge build can get upwards of 300+ damage with pistols easily, or an arcane build a bit later if you want some really devistating power. I would also highly recommend snagging the DLC if you haven't already.
I would also recommend the other souls games and Sekiro as well, obviously. But 1 and 2 in particular are a lot clunkier than bloodborne but totally worth the playthroughs. But of course, none of those have that beautiful post-gothic cosmic horror aesthetic that I love about bloodborne so much.

Oh I know bro! Beat the dlc. Really proud of myself because I beat Orphan in 5 tries and Maria in 7! Rocking strength/arcane and loving it! For platinum I just need the best claw and to beat Queen Yharnham but I'm stuck on the defiled chalice bosses. :p But I shall overcome!!

I thought Bloodborne was PS4 exclusive? But yeah, ps4. Only reason I've done as many dungeons as I have yet is for the trophies. I thought they were fun at first but now they're just tedious. And the health penalty for Defiled is just an artificial handicap to raise difficulty which I don't like. I think if they improved the co-op it would be much better.

Just polished off Akiba's Beat. Now working through AI The Somnium Files and taking breaks for ACNH. Will likely finish AI by the time Final Fantasy VII remake arrives which I will play. After that I plan to finish off I Am Setsuna, then I have so very much of the COVID-19 humble bundle to work through.
I'm so glad my role desperately needs to retain workers and is state funded. I am essentially being paid to play until schools reopen. I know full well how lucky I am.
