Everybody in the US has access to health care -- we just have a fucking retarded way to pay for it, which also has the added disadvantage of incentivizing poor people to use emergency rooms as their primary source of health care.

If/when the hospitals get slammed by the Corona Wave, access will be harder to get, but that is the case in any country where the wave happens, such as has happened in Italy and is becoming a problem in several other European countries.

Of course, the deaths continued into 2020, and continue now -- but doing the math is interesting, as opposed to just looking at the number and saying "looks like a big number to me!"
