Why do liberals lie so much? Conservatives and especially Christian conservatives find it hard to comprehend how and why liberals lie so easily. Many liberals seem to lie without the slightest guilt of compunction.

For left-wing politics, lying goes back to the Russian Bolsheviks or earlier. The masses were lied to because the ruling elite (or ruling elite to be) felt that the ends (Marxism) justified the means, and the masses were too stupid and ignorant to know what was good for them. Leftists have a rather low opinion of the masses, the average citizen.

Liberalism is like a religion. But unlike most religions, liberalism has no moral code. The closest thing to a moral code in liberalism is "don't get caught." To the fanatic, the leftist cause is so noble, so sacred, that any lying or cheating for the left cause is justified. When a liberal lies to the American public, he is in effect saying, "You are too stupid to know what is good for you. I will say anything I need to say to convince you my way is the right way."

If liberals were honest about their vision for this country, few people would vote for them. Liberals must lie to us in order to impose the tyranny of liberalism upon us. Vladimir Lenin, who was a Russian politician, communist theorist and first leader of Soviet Russia once stated, "A lie told often enough becomes the truth." He also said, "Make the big lie big, make it simple, keep saying it and eventually they will believe it," and "There are no morals in politics."

I can answer this. First, understand that in America, there is a right, and there is a center. What you probably think are leftists, are actually liberals, which means they are into individual liberty. They are socially left, but economically very right- interested in freedom to do whatever you want with your money. A modern Democrat (liberal) is super close to a libertarian, compared to a communist.

The bottom line is that it's important to understand this division if you want to know why they lie so much. Liberals are NOT LEFTISTS. If you think this, you are narrowing the scope of what is possible from extreme right wing to middle-of-the-road neoliberalism.

If you can wrap your mind around it, you can understand why liberals lie so much.

The job of liberals (centerist Democrats) in American politics, is to be the better-than-the right wing party. They try to snuggle up as close as they possibly can to them, while still maintaining a distinction. Then they can hold any leftist hostage by saying at least I'm not the Nazi fascist monster on the other team.

Both parties get massive money from capital. Neither one is leftist. Bernie is not a leftist. A leftist politician would campaign on nationalizing industry- the banks, the healthcare system (not single payor, but having the government employ all doctors and run all hospitals), and any industry that ever needed a government bailout. A leftist politician would run on abolishing making money off of ownership rather than labor. They would abolish stocks. Do you see anyone saying that? No? That's because you have never even heard a leftist politician.

So why do they lie? Because they have to pretend to get the left votes in the primaries. The most successful liberal politicians lie to the population.

Hope and change... then do nothing different and push a heritage foundation's healthcare plan.
