At least you managed to hone in on the one difference of importance. It only works once you approach it form a biased set of assumptions, though. Why do you assume that trauma is from the sexual activity and not the culture surrounding it? It wasn't hard to find homosexuals with trauma related to their orientation. It was very prevalent among the ones that felt the most shame over it. How much of a child's understanding of sex is limited thanks to shielding them from the very concept? The differences aren't as black and white as you may think.
Paedophilia is a sexual orientation
There’s a big difference, genius. You are not capable of having a non-rape relationship with a child. Period. The vast, vast majority of normal men have ordinary, consensual relationships
Well, I suppose that view is "muh morality."
I have a fairly strict personal belief in what is right, and what is wrong, and it's a line I don't cross.
I don't believe in hurting others for personal gain, and thus I despise people who hold a contrary view.
Similarly, I despise shunning and hurting others for having horrific world views, so long as those views are not put into action. Meaning I oppose though crimes on every level. Only actual action should be punished.
Don't be a cutie pie
WTF is that picture?
The concept of "sexual orientation" and "psychiatric disorder" do not exist outside of human definition.
Meaning, people recognize these things, and define what falls into which category. There is no empirical, provable way to assign them. The act of defining these characteristics is purely opinion.
Homosexuality used to be seen as a disorder. Then it was redefined.
The fact that some group classified something as belonging in a group does not lay the basis for a counter argument as to why it should not be redefined.
>You are not capable of having a non-rape relationship with a child. Period.
