From New Rochelle, NY. I got the flu last week. Kind of bad headache, small 99.9° fever, heavily congested nose. I've been basically almost fine except from the congestion. I lost my sense of taste and smell the same day and its been days since I tasted anything. Tequila shots have been easy as fuck. Basically finished 2 liters of liquor between then. Called the testing center in my city (we're the NYC epicenter) and they said they would get back to me. It's been days since so I doubt I'll be tested. My father in law's best friend's mum died from it last week.

Think I had it in January right after coming home from a business trip to Europe. Started with three day headache, then 103 degree fever that never went below 99 for nearly a week, coughing fits that when on for 5 minutes at a time. sweats, tingling in feet and hands, loss of taste and smell.
