Now, with literally everything regarding elections turned on its head, it's a tossup based on who fucks up their campaign momentum the least.
Bottom line, Trump enjoys historic popularity with republicans, but more accurately older white men. He's had nearly 4 years now, his base hasn't expanded at all, and dems have be doing pretty ok at charging voter turnout.
Trump could get everything he wants, economy and corona fixed overnight, numbers back to normal.
He still sticks to his brand of pissing off anyone that isn't already sympathetic to his platform or him as a person while not accomplishing anything particularly noteworthy as President, and that's going to be a tough rock to carry for the ballot box.
