first of all simp, all things are real. voices or not. all things are made of matter and are real, your thoughts exist on a physical plane of existence because there is only the physical plane of existence. thoughts are real, they're electrical activity in the neurons in your brain, which is a complex biological computer. the problem lies with perception, you perceive the voices but they only exist in your mind and do not come from an outside source. they are a fabrication, an illusion brought on by your illness. this comes from a place of genuine concern for your well being, not from wanting to hurt you or see harm come to you. mental illness is already way too stigmatized in this world for me to just write someone off as psychotic or dangerous because of their illness.
