I work at a law firm and we're doing everything remote. It kind of sucks, but at least I'm still getting full time work. Honestly, I mostly feel bad for the clients. Everything takes longer and they're getting billed for it.

Branch manager for a PVF warehouse, we sell stuff to refineries and chemical plants here in Texas. I have one warehouse guy at work, one salesman, and I've been home. They are under strict guidelines at the office too, which I watch on the cameras. Im only home since I have a 5 month old son, a pregnant wife with asthma, thyroid disease and a history of pneumonia as a kid.

Was furloughed at end of shift for two weeks, no pay. They called to tell me I'm coming back to work on the 6th and laid off on the 13th.

Butcher in a fairly large SW USA grocery store chain. Latest panic buying over the past couple weeks have made me real bored with no product to work with.

I work for the government listening to people's boring phone conversations. I feel fine, but the office is set up in a way so I rarely see my coworkers and they give us access to all the sanitizing stuff we could need.

They're doing trial runs on having people work from home, but I doubt my computer is nice enough. I'm not too afraid of getting infected at work because, like I said, I rarely even see my coworkers.

Work at a distribution company delivering alcohol. Someone in the office caught Corona. Now the office and warehouse aren't allowed to interact. One of our drivers caught the flu. We're assured it's just the normal flu and to continue working. Talking about the driver can get you written up. Guess they don't want to cause a panic lmao.

I work in wastewater. We're deemed essential even though nothing we do couldn't be postponed. Literally nothing about my life has changed except that I'm high risk for corona now in addition to about a hundred other viruses and parasites. My company won't pay me to stay home and I can't maintain my current lifestyle on 80% unemployment so I just work and wait to get infected

I'm a foods services stock worker for my local school district. Work has been pretty slow for my department. It's just 2 hours of filling orders and 6 hours of bullshit

I work for a disaster response company. Usually floods fires that sort of thing. We come in clean up and help rebuild... currently working 7 days a week disinfecting local businesses and Gov building as we are the only local company with tools and supplies we get all the work

Still gainfully employed, but have friends in a weird situation. Both parents at home no work, teenage kids with all the work they can handle at a supermarket

I'm a freelance race car mechanic and I got fucked over quite a lot by this virus.

I'm looking at at least a couple of more months of doing nothing, pretty much all my calendars have been shifted between may and June, hoping the problem won't drag even further than that.

I'm in Ohio, work in plant that makes class 6, 7, 8 diesel trucks. Currently

But there's gonna be issues getting parts for months. There's some parts we have
to order six weeks in advance, parts that come from Austria, Germany, Japan,

I pick up trash. I Drive the truck and toss. The job in general is disgusting. Now you add in the virus problem and it feels really fucking disgusting. Add on top of that I drive the route that picks up for the hospital and nursing home.

My showers can't be hot enough. The pay is awesome. Getting over time and hazard pay. Boss gave the option to get a leave of absence. I passed. A few guys took it.

The streets don't get busy any more and I get through my route early. See if you are scheduled to work 8 hours and your get done in 6. Your still get paid for the 8.

The entire thing is bitter Sweet.

I do, working in freight handling. Due to low work volumes, I haven't been able to come in and do any shifts since Monday. Shit's fucked, man. They won't even let me fill in for the 4-10AM shift.

3rd shift security guard at an automobile parts plant in KY. Work three 12 hour shifts a week, off 4 nights a week. Feeling pretty good. State only has a small handful of China Coof cases, but the plant I guard shutdown for the next 2 months, laid off all the workers. So I just sit in my car from 7p-7a playing video games, watching TV, shit posting on Yas Forums while watching an empty building all night.
