In a sense I think your assessment there if fairly on the money, I think it comes down to what counts as like "clouding" and "clarity" sort of, again speaking like in a sort of conversational or detached rather than persuasive way cause you do you and I ain't the type to peer pressure. There are certainly things brought out by your own mind which are more internal than external which manifests as perceptions, but are they only fake or untrue? I dunno, are our dreams and such fake or untrue, or are they a reflection of a real process happening internally? Is a movie which uses creative situations to highlight real emotions more real or fake? I think you could see it either way and there is merit to both perspectives on it. I mean, there is a reason I wouldn't just be on them all the time, I don't want how I think to constantly be shifted or to perceive internal things in a viscerally external way constantly, so it's certainly not all "the mind at large" to me even. But yah, like I said your path is your own, I don't know any better than most people on a lot of things.
Oh yah 100%, if you google "magnetic implant" a lot of stories should come up on it.
