I'm not a Trump hater. Loved him in the 80's and 90's. The apprentice sucked, but everything on "reality" tv sucks. He's provided his fair share of dividing the country, while some have gained under his economy, many have not. I don't put that on Trump but that's a major factor as to why many don't tout his economy. He also inherited a skyrocketing economy. He did well with what he was given, but as usual (aka swamp) it's the rich that have gotten richer.

My issue with supporting him outright is how his supporters are afraid or unwilling to call him out when need be. He closed down travel from China on Jan 31st. This was due to pressure from HHS. Intelligence knew in late 2019 that the virus existed. They spent all of Jan and Feb trying to get Trump to prepare. He did not. Late Feb, early March he provided false and/or misguided information. Supporters will claim that it was an attempt to keep the country calm. At best that was a failure at leadership and decision making. Now we're here and I have applauded his efforts to inform and lead. I think he's hit a couple bumps in the road but that's expected on a road unknown. He should be called out for his misinformation and failure in leadership that cost us a minimum of 2 months in prep time. You want to know why? Because he's now pushing for "churches to be full on easter sunday."

My issue with his supporters supercedes any issues I have with Trump himself, because they continue to give him the green light even when it costs us.
