Nice job mr chang. .2 social credits have been added to your account
China has a fairly obedient population. They've been ordered home.
Japan is the one to look at- they were hell bent on hosting the Olympics and may have been radically undertesting to improve optics.
If the number of tests skyrockets now that the Olympics has been canceled, we'll know it's true.
This is "confirmed" cases. People in the United States have private healthcare rather than free and are covered by insurance so they are bound to go and get tested and have it confirmed if they develop even a slight cough.
Those in countries like the UK are being told that if they develop a cough or fever to just stay home and deal with it unless it escalates to life threatening proportions, in which case they will be hospitalised and tested.
I myself had completely out of nowhere chest pain, a cough and a fever that left me sweating through every sleepless night for the past week or so. I am now feeling somewhat better and I suspect I am one of many, many people who may have contracted covid and just aren't part of the figures because mild cases in people who do not put up a fuss are just not tested.
The real numbers of infected are likely the same wherever you go
I'm just pointing out that graph it not accurate. You guys are arguing over fake news. I'll also point out how Italy, which was known for how great its healthcare system is, proves to be i failure.
Testing is now free in the states
>they are bound to go and get tested and have it confirmed if they develop even a slight cough
On the contrary, we haven't been counting cases where a person died from symptoms but couldn't be confirmed covid. There's also a massive shortage of tests so they're not being used on just anyone. Only people we're definitely sure probably have it. I went in to get tested myself and they refused since I wasn't showing serious symptoms.
Well if Italy, which has a decent socialized healthcare system can’t handle COVID-19, just imagine how fucked we are. Nothing in our healthcare system moves until someone can make a buck off it. We’re in trouble.
Well, that further proves my point. Americans will take anything for free and ignore government advice not to take it if they don't need it. Here you just wait and see if you're about to die before you insist on a test, and good luck with getting one. Only the Pakistanis and chavs in the UK have the mindset of IT'S FREE I NEED IT NOW.
