What's your status during this Coronavirus/COVID-19 craze? Do you have a strategy figured out, by now, or are you and other occupants of your household in a frenzy over this? Does anybody on here actually have the disease, or know somebody close that has Coronavirus?

Not downplaying the virus at all. I live with people who have autoimmune disease. I wash my hands frequently, and don't go out much anymore.

That's all I really can do. Once enough time passes, we'll see how serious the situation really was.

Work was deemed exempt from the shut downs. Thankfully boss is a germaphobe and makes everyone "sterilize" before clocking in. Family isn't freaking out but they're not brushing warnings off.

As of right now everyone is working from home, of doing online classes, stopped going to highly populated areas but still go out for walks or to get some sun shine to keep form going stir crazy, stocked and prepped since early February because everyone in my family knew the panic was going to be worse than the virus.

Yeah. Keep working my stay-home career, go out grocery shopping a little earlier in the day. Won't get to go on any out-of-town weekend trips.
Really, it's pretty much usual. I think a lot of people are going to go stir-crazy in about 2-3 weeks though.

My roommate is working from home, and I got furloughed without pay. I have savings, but I've agreed to cover a ton of her chores in return for having to pay less rent.

That said, she is very much a social person and very promiscuous, and in lieu of a social life she has started wanting to hang out all the time.

I don't have it constantly, but I get that sometimes. It seems to come up as a reaction to certain electronic noises. It's annoying, but tolerable, for me.

There was barely anyone there and I didn't touch anything, nobody was coughing or sneezing or anything. I live in Australia and they now make you stand a metre away from the staff including the doctors.

I'm avoiding everyone and the outside as much as possible but eventually I need to get perishables supplies like veges and fruit and milk and bread, I got enough food to get me through a couple months or double if I reduce my meal sizes. So far though except toilet paper, bleach cleaners and some canned foods the stores are fine for supply. Fucking hoarders coming from other towns and cities cleaning places out though, I don't know what I'm going to do if what I need can't be bought a couple months from now. I don't expect this shit to go away by summer I can only hope. Last time I went out no one was social distancing at all and cops were everywhere. No coofers or sneezers and I hand sanitizerd like mad so I think I'm ok.
