So my friend has been charged with having Child Abuse material on his phone/laptop.
It came as a huge shock. I've known this man 20 years. Our mums were best friends.
I truly believe he has never physically hurt a child but I'm still wary of how to act and what to do now. Do I go visit him in jail and support him, wait for him to come out and try to maintain a friendship, or cut him out completely?
Any people who are attracted to minors or anyone who can shed some light on what's going on in his head and how can I help. Or leave him to his own life.

Can post it if needed) they had a tip off from an organization focusing on Child Abuse material, and they had a warrant before they even questioned him. Just showed up to his house and obviously had enough evidence to arrest him and take his phone/laptop.
