No, that's a custom gun built by combining the best parts from both a Colt and Smith and Wesson. The barrel is off the Colt Python and the lockwork is from a S&W. It's call a Smython.

Since most of the 3 million times per year where a gun is used in defense from or to deter a crime do not end in anybody being shot, or even the weapon being fired, you do not have to plan of shooting anybody or anything. You just have to have the preparation to know how to handle a gun safely in case an emergency arises
