Well china is going back to normal as of a few days ago. They were the worse case and the worse strain >strain L. We have been seeing more of strain S which isnt as bad. It took china about 8 weeks to gain control and they did a great job. Id predict Were looking at about 8 to 16 weeks of self quarantine and shut downs until this situation stabilizes. Right now stocks are at low. When everything stabilizes you're gonna be rich. Keep an eye on the markets. Play some stocks here in the next few weeks and make some cash for your family.

Edict at the national level, not the provincial level. In the USA, federal action might be able to do something. They have enough resources to do something about hotspots, but we're already way past the stage where putting out hotspots is a viable strategy for dealing with COVID-19.

Here's the thing, OP. It' not a thing, it's THE thing.

Engineered or natural, what the fuck ever, this virus is new to humanity. We don't have any active immunity to it. And a vaccine will take time to develop, produce, and distribute.

So, people should be taking this seriously. Actually, though, the best precautions we should be taking are precautions people should take at the peak of the flu season. But we don't do those things. So governments started initiating quarantines, so force people apart.

But none of this will stop the virus. It'll slow its spread a bit, and maintain space in hospitals for the people who need to go. Are mistakes being made by governments, too? Absolutely. They're run by humans, after all, and we all have faults.

We'll all likely be exposed eventually, just by the plain odds of things. So keep personal space, wash your hands often, don't cough on people and give people dirty looks if they don't do what they should, then avoid them. Eventually this will subside because more people will be exposed then recover, enabling us to return somewhat to normalcy.
