Why is nobody talking about the positive side of Corona?
There are three main positive things that result from this virus.
1. Population control. There are way too many humans and the only way to control the population right now is trough viruses and similar things.
2. Environment emissions. If everyone has to be at home, there is noone left to pollute the environment. So the waters become clearer and the air becomes cleaner.
3. Economical recession. Why is this a good thing you ask?
Because more people can enter the market now. Nobody would buy Tesla at 800 Dollars. But at 300-400 Dollars people start to think about it.
More people entering the market at lower prices is good for the economy.
So stop talking about the negative things only, there are also good things that come with this virus.
Tell me one thing that's wrong about these 3 things. Mr. No manchild.
Andrew Ross
What evidence do you have that there are 'too many people". By what metric are you measuring this? What is the right amount of people, and why?
Jose Watson
There are way too many people in the cities. If you actually get out of these shit holes youd find large amounts of empty space. Take a drive through your state.
Zachary Peterson
>way too many humans True, but we would need at least 2-3 billion dead. Not with this weakling of a virus.
Joseph Morales
I can name 20. Mainly how you say pop control is good but at most in the US it’ll be 2 million dead. There’s gonna be a surge of babies though from people being stuck inside. So there goes that.
Matthew Rodriguez
All you have really said is 'damn, there are lots of people'.
Answer the question. What do you actually mean by 'too many people'?
Matthew Wood
Just check on how much space we have to use for farm animals and crops and stuff. Then you'll understand why there are too many people.
Josiah Evans
I legitimately do not understand why people bang on about the overpopulation meme. Like, what are you talking about? Is this just what anti-scoial snarks and edgelords say? Legit, too many people by what fucking measure? Why do you think there should be less people?
Joshua Young
I dont think youre replying to the right person. I was pointing out that shit seems overpopulated in a city, but if you leave the city there is a ton of space.
Dylan Young
Not an answer. "Farm animals and crops and stuff" is lame-sauce my dude. My reply is so fucking what? Why does space matter?
Jason Jones
What? If you had a two acre plot of land you could sustain your life without the use of large machines.
Charles Martinez
Brown people exist. Ergo, we have too many people.
You could put memes aside and actually consider the question, unless you are legit a retard.
Jonathan Watson
Naw fam. The planet if use optimally can support about 12 billion. The meat industry can't support that though. People generally consume more meat products than actually required to live.
Camden Morales
The largest positive is that it targets the worst generation in society.
Carson Thomas
It means that we can't just claim the whole fucking earth for ourselfes. We are not the only living thing on this planet but we treat it like that.
Cameron Rivera
Why not?
James Williams
Nice trips.
Well cause that's kind of egoistic, isn't it?
Elijah Turner
Tons of people live in accordance with nature, city-boy. Grow a brain.
Hunter Fisher
How can an entire species be egotistical when the ego is a trait of the individual? And even if it is anthropocentric, which is what I assume you mean, so what? What is your objection to anthropocentricism?
Justin Garcia
Lets just conclude that it would be better for the whole Planet if our population halfed.
Hudson James
Have you seen the satellite images showing how much the air pollution in China has diminished? Italy as well. And hey, buying into the market now is a pretty good idea. Although I think the market is going to continue to fall for another week or two, so shares of blue chip stocks will be even cheaper. Either way, stock values will rise again eventually, likely before year’s end
Matthew Hughes
>Eurpeans derp
Xavier Sanchez
Nah. You haven't said why. I could conclude based on nothing, as you have, that the whole planet would be better if the population doubled. Prove me wrong, faggot. You can't, because I haven't given you a system by which 'better' can be measured. So tell me, why would it be better. Or are you incapable?
Andrew Allen
All species fuck up their habitat, if there's nothing stopping them. Humanity isn't different in any meaningful way. Only difference is we're highly adaptable so all of earth is our habitat. And we will as a consequence fuck up all of earth. There's no stopping it, because your biological imperative is to fucking multiply and anytime someone tells you you can't your instinct will interpret it as a violation of your rights. Yes, there are exceptions. Not enough to make a difference.
Humanity, like any species, expands beyond the carrying capacity for their habitat if they're able to, then they stat there for as long as possible, until it collapses. Then comes a time of strife and famine and disease, and then we end up in balance. That balance may or may not be conductive for other species, but evolution and nature doesn't care. It has no willpower. No consciousness. No direction. Our genes have one purpose - to increase biomass as much as possible, for as long as possible. There are no other rules. We're not the first species to completely fuck up the world causing mass extinction, and we won't be the last.
So let's not pretend that we're special. We're like all the other species.
James Allen
the positive is the beginning of the boomercide
Juan Collins
Well presented OP. I really hope all of the useless (((people))) stop taking up valuable space in Eden.
>less people equals less ressources needed >less people equals less pollution >less people equals less trash production
= better for everyone.
Chase Barnes
Everything you just said is insanely loaded and reads like it was written by an edgy doomer. Here are some counterpoints: 1. Provide an example of a species (other than humanity, if a grant you that humanity fucks up its habitat) fucking up their own habitat. 2. If humanity is adaptable, as you say, then it will adapt to whatever challenges arise in the future. If the population booms, humanity will find a solution to it. With current agricultural methods, we may only be able to support, say, 12 billion. But technology is changing constantly, and you do not have the ability to see around corners. 3. Humanity is far too complex to talk about along the lines of a 'biological imperative'. Such variance exists in human behaviour, both between individuals and between cultures, that several entire disciplines revolve around it. 4. Humanity is different because it self-organises into national governments that are run with the imperative of the survival of the nation (and hence the people) in mind. This gives humanity a huge advantage over other species and gives it the power to take control over its own destiny. At the end you say we aren't the first species to fuck up the entire world - could you enlighten me as to which other species you are referring? And lastly, why should an anthropocentric humanity not be anthropocentric and give a hoot about the wellbeing of other species once those species have outlived their usefulness to humanity?
Joshua Gutierrez
>Better for everyone Except for the dead people, right? You're acting like you care about people, now? Or by "better for everyone", do you in fact mean "better for me"?
Don't be selfish. A reduction in genetically-inferior specimen is welcomed.
Ryder Martin
I hate how we are in 21st century and humans still don't know shit.
Like health shit, nobody knows for certain how many diseases are even caused. They can show correlation but they have never shown causation in some of the biggest killers like cancer, dementia and the worst one heart disease.
Lazy underfunded research trying to blame meat, lack of activity, sweeteners, too much salt, mercury, sugar, fat or your blood pressure or pulse being higher than a statistic figure.
It's so easy just to say everything in moderation but don't specify what moderation is for different people. This uncertainty leaves us all constantly adapting our exercise and diet regimes trying to reduce stress trying to lose weight etc when some overweight people are in better cardiovascular shape than some of the thinner community.
They can't explain really why high blood pressure is caused or even high cholestrol and still believe saturated fat causes it or why older people are more prone despite eating the same.
Genetics play a certain role and we're all trying to live as long as possible when the information to do so isn't reliable. Theres too much detail to go into but keeping health isn't as simple.
We all probably metabolise shit differently as our metabolic needs are different and don't affect us in the same way. Imagine living off a vegan diet and dying from heart disease 20 years later because your body needs to metabolise b12 and protein to keep arteries healthy. No point trusting what you read.
Ryan Hernandez
5. Boomers die.
Luke Young
I feel the same op i just wish more niggers would die
Aaron Walker
I agree with OP's first point. Too many fucking humans has made this world a shithole.
Lazy reply. What should be considered genetically inferior in a mass society that can support literal retards.
Nolan Peterson
Quite ironic.
Something about a people who cause 52% of the crime while representing 13% of population?
Jace Mitchell
And how many retards going to born after this you konw people are all home fucking if thay got pussy to fuck
Isaiah Torres
>people >pussy to fuck not sure if deliberate but the subtle implications here made me lol
Lincoln Wright
The problem with the population control aspect is it's the autismos and social retards that are surviving
Parker Rivera
Do you desire to be a part of a society which encourages homosexuality and drug use?
Jose Clark
the virus has already mutated. It is starting to kill young people. Look it up, a new strain.
Owen Gomez
So it turns out this place really is dominated by idiots and underaged B&. I thought that was just a meme.
Aiden Sanchez
We need a more efficient virus. One that takes out most of the world's population 100% indiscriminately. Equal mortality rate among all age groups, all races, every socioeconomic status, all cultures. Just one indifferent badass reboot.
It hasn't hit afirca or India that hard so it doesn't matter.
Tyler Martin
And nothing of value was lost.
Jaxson Edwards
lol they havent even bothered to test there. If they did actually count the numbers from India and Africa, the official world infection rate would already be over a million.
Jaxon White
i want to go back and feel the joy of jumping in puddles and walking alongside creeks in the rain, following pieces of grass and sticks that I pretend are boats.
Great so we can expect covid19 refugees now and the quarantine time will be in vain. Cool, cool. Why do we have to care for the black man? Hopefully this will be a waking call for the world, let them rot.
Parker Hughes
>population control >more people entering market
I remember hearing somewhere that we can fit all of the Earths people in the state of Texas. Assuming the entire state was just one filled metropolis within its borders. So too many people land wise is out. There's also plenty of land in the U.S. that could potentially be used to grow crops, but not everyone wants to be a farmer.
Also, people barely have enough money to stay afloat in this recession, so the thought that after we pull thru this people will have their minds and wallets ready to jump into the market is extraordinarily self deceiving.
But hey, keep thinking positive user
Kayden Lee
I self quarantined so my parents don't have to baby sit my kids. Getting paid to stay home is comfy.
Indeed, old people are a massive burden on health system - for what, 3 more years of non-productive life? 100k operation for that?
Fuck that. Boomer remover is a chink blessing in disguise for failed demographic modelling of retirement age, and non-utilitarian """ethics""".
Leo Gomez
I've seen less niggers since this entire thing, hope it kills them all.
Dominic Taylor
Metric of the global population all having the same living standard.
And no, having historically held a gun to certain nation-states heads' is not actually a justification for their population having a lower living standard then yours.
So, the choice is - do you want to live with having a pakistani bricklayers' idea of wealth, or do you want a lower global population?
Xavier Jackson
Did a quick google search and found some other thing that if people lived as densely in Manhattan we could fit them in Nee Zealand. I doubt the terrain would be good though. Couldn't find the original one I read but here are 2 sources. You can also google if you doubt me and do more research.
