I'm sorry, but looking at the numbers, I would prefer to go on with life as normal as possible, and if you get it, you get it. Two reasons for this. First, the economic and social cost of shutting everything down is too great, especially considering the fact that this virus is eventually going to get out there anyway.
Second reason is because the rates of serious complications from this just aren't igh enough for me to justify wrecking all of society indefinitely. If this was killing fuck tones of people, then i could see the emergency measures.... but not for this.
Keep in mind that 54 million people die every year. That's about 150,000 per day. Corona has killed under 12,000 in months. Corona thus far is a blip on the map of deaths. I just don't see how it is for some greater good to completely fuck society as a whole for this.
