Honest question to republicans; what would he have to do to lose your faith in him? I'm not asking about things he has done in the past, but in the future, could he do anything so bad that you would abandon your Trump shirt?
Honest question to republicans; what would he have to do to lose your faith in him...
Doesn't deport the 11 million illegals
I'll never stop eating for Trump!
He has not done this, so does he still have your support?
That's why MAGA 2020
If he was born in China, that's the only way I wouldn't support him so I'm safe.
I wasn't here for the last one. You have some soundproof ideas?
How long do you think it takes to make a program to deport people?
Bernie 2020
The same could be asked but in opposite terms for you. Is there anything he could do that's a reasonable action for a president that would cause you to support him? Or would you by default internally spin it into something negative, even if it was something you wanted.
Eating?
Are you insinuating Republicans are fat?
If he goes back in time and stops himself from lying so God damn much then maybe. That is the bare minimum for me to vote for him: time travel.
Good question. There are things Trump has done to gain my support. When he exposed Biden's son and the corrupt politician that Biden is, I was in his corner, impeachment or no. I have lost faith in the democratic party due to their media potrayals of things as well. (I am a moderate)
Now ill ask you, have you disagreed with anything Trump has done?
1. He could take responsibility for his fuck ups like an adult
2. He could stop lying every second word out of his mouth.
3. He could stop using the us government to self-enrich himself and his family
4. He could humble the fuck out and admit that not everything revolves around him, that other people and agencies can have credit too.
5. Be a president that doesnt cuddle up to dictators while demonizing critics.
6. Etc.
Yeah he still let’s faggots like you breathe air
Attacking the poster and not the argument.
Typical rebublicunt trumpeter response.
Why do you feel this way about me?
>When he exposed Biden's son and the corrupt politician that Biden is
i already did, the coronavirus response has highlighted his incompetence
So you believe a president, or any leader for that matter, shouldn't live with constant scrutiny of their actions? How do we hold accountability to our leaders? History has shown they lie, Republican and Democrat.
heh, got news for you buddy...
Care to elaborate on why my post is causing you distress?
Bloomberg still at it, huh? Is the thread price reduced since he gave up his run?
When there is any other viable candidate.
Both sides have failed to offer one.
Because you have a one track mind and you’ve done nothing but bitch and complain about Trump since the day he rode that stupid escalator down. It’s so fucking tiring. Also I bet you’re the type of woke shithead who wants open borders and free tranny surgeries for prisoners
You're missing at least half the point user. It's not just a matter of what Trump could do, but what the Republicans as a party would have to do. Or conversely what the Democrats as a party might do to attract my vote.
Here's the long and short of it. So long as Democrats represent a continuing movement towards socialism and collective thought they can count on my voting for whomever opposes them.
I don't particularly like Trump. He's proven himself a better president than I ever expected, but I still have plenty of reservations about him. But he is a Republican and can generally be trusted to fall within the bounds of what the Republican Party expects of it's membership. Those aren't very high standards, but I'm not given a whole lot of choices come election time, so I take what I can get.
No, I have TDS and I will cry about anything and everything.
No I never said that. I said that I wouldn't support one person if they were chinese. Trump hasn't done anything egregious in my opinion, and certainly nothing that I even feel slightly negative towards either.
Is that Trump Dementia Syndrome or Trump Derangement Syndrome?
You could stop doing a copy pasta of the talking points too.
BTW How exactly is he 'self-enrich'ing himself?
Not s Trump voter, I started off thinking he'd be a 2/10 president. After the media, the Dem bullshit (Russiagate, SCOTUS bs, impeachment) I thought he was 5/10. I still don't like him on a personal level, but he does get stuff done regardless of unprecedented opposition. Compared to the shishow the Dems have going on, I think I'd choose Trump.
He deserves a fair shot without all the obstruction. If he attempts to force a third term, I would support his outright execution. He is, unfortunately, the less corrupt and saner option. I say give him a chance as long as that's the case.
Hypothetically, would it bother you to learn he hasn't acted sooner to bolster his chances to be reelected? Presumably, you believe illegal immigration is terrible for our country. This hypothetical decision would mean decisions for political reasons at the expense of the American people. Would this upset you?
You are assuming many things about me. My views on immagration are; only take the best and brightest that test into the country, and block out the rest. I do not wish to save the population there, because I understand that the population will never stop growing there, so the problem will never be solved. Transgendered opporations should be illegal until we find complete means of switching someone's gender genetically as apposed to surgically.
Literally nothing. He is a projection of his supporters, so unless his supporters look at themselves and realize how shitty they are will we ever improve.
But this is America, no one will ever admit they are wrong.
You guys don't get it, do you? He's comprehensively unfit to lead. Thus I can NEVER support him. He keeps proving it again and again and again he categorically lacks basic humanity.
But Republicans just bury their heads in the sand.
I'll support him when Trump abandons the way he has done his ENTIRE life.
>Reply
"Unprecedented opposition"? Spare me.
Have a competent opponent in the next Presidential Election, for starters.
o shit, ppl lie?
If you've still clinging to honesty and virtue as qualifications for a world leader, you need to grow the fuck up. We are lied to constantly, by leaders, by corporations, by the news media, entertainment media, social media, our teachers, our public servants, our own friends and families. Some of them don't even know they're lying, some of them are lying for absolutely no reason. And the amazing thing is, none of them have a responsibility to the truth. Its nobody's obligation to tell you the truth, about anything. Its your job to discern the truth and make decisions accordingly. Anyone who still looks to leadership for coherent honesty is living in a child's illusion.
At a certain point, even my cynicism has limits. On Trump, I finally got reminded I do in fact have standards.
His evil is way too far, and tolerating him just poisons the rest of the Republicans. He's remaking you in his Satanic image.
Because
1) Trump is the most blatantly corrupt son of a bitch in US history
2) Him lying every step of the way about about a bullshit DNC server conspiracy and "corruption" in the Ukraine
3) To serve said bullshit agenda, he leveraged hundreds of millions of US tax payer dollars, kept a secret communications channel that undermined not only the State Department, but our exchange with Ukraine as a whole.
All this energy, backstabbing, and illicit use of power so he could get more dirt on a political opponent, just as he did in 2016.
But hey, we found out some politician's crackhead son works on a gas board in Europe.
A lot of things. Things he's already done. If the competition is shit then Im voting for the least shit one.
If trump became a liberal or socialist I would give up on him.
I dont vote for Faggots
Sorry, I assumed you meant that was your only requirement for presidency, not being Chinese. Have you been reading about things he does? I find I disagree with people that I support sometimes.
I would've voted for Yang. I mean he got rid of the mandate and that's what swong my support to him. I doubt repubs could do anything less than raise taxes to lose my support at this point.
is bernie going to do it? or since trump hasnt successfully got anything through on the subject user needa to vote for an open borders candidate?
Understandable. So your support for him stems from the alternate choice being lying Democrats? What things do you believe he has accomplished?
I also agree that media outrage can prevent him from doing things. I also believe we need scrutiny to keep our leaders in check. Is there some middle ground you can think of?
>He's remaking you in his Satanic image.
ironic if you vote for the party that wants to legally kill freshly birthed babies
Which one do you have, user?
So, just TDS huh? Only ~5 years left user.
No I'm not a huge news reader. I do listen to several podcasts though, Timppol being one. Everything that Tim says is a negative about Trump i.e. his offensive tweeting, is something that I support wholeheartedly. I feel he has been an A+ president in regards to foreign diplomacy and the economy in general.
I think you misunderstood. I acknowledge that people lie, and I do not have faith in any politician. I believe the only way to combat this is to put them under scrutiny of the people that put them there, so that lies are exposed. I am less for blindy following people and more for investigating the truth, despite what they say. Have any methods of discerning a liar from a truthful politician?
I agree with you that Trump has lied numerous times, and that it is provable. I know of the grant money he spends on aggriculture in order to give the illusion of success to his base. He borrows this money and the expense is on the majority. Doesn't bidens crackhead son being on a gas board illicit any scrutiny from you on his character?
It's good that you listen to more than one opinion for news, but how can you discern a lying media reporter from one who does not? It is understandable that people lie in media to support their own agenda instead of supporting the truth, so how do you know which is which? I don't know who to believe.
Sorry didn't mean to reference my own post at the end.
Deport Mexicans TRUMP 2020 MAGA
I don’t have a trump shirt
I don't have faith in him.
I just think he's the last thing standing between me and the democrats.
So i suppose if he embraced higher taxes, gun control, etc then I'd vote elsewhere.
>I know of the grant money he spends on agriculture
And the hundreds of millions we pay for him to travel to his own resorts, and for his security to sleep in his hotels and eat in his restaurants.
How many of the GOP are feathering nests at Mar A Logo, how Saudis and Qataris rent whole floors of his Hotel in DC, and how many of his unqualified staff happened to donate to his inaugural fund.
Not least of all, him exempting products of his own company from the tariff war he started, and our funding his legal team to keep the tax papers hiddens that he had promised to release.
>Doesn't bidens crackhead son being on a gas board illicit any scrutiny from you on his character?
I think Biden has one of the shittiest senate voting records in the democrat party, always cucking for the bankers.
Finding your son a job far far away from the fabric of DC is the least offensive thing he's done, and it's what I would do as a career politician with a son like him.
Meanwhile, Ivanka and Jared only found their way to the White House through daddy. They are *here*, influencing *our* policies, and sweeping inconvenient things like the murder of Khashoggi under the rug.
I as a person cannot discern the truth on my own but I know that if I agree with the person I'm listening to too much then I am definitely not hearing the full story. So when I watch a video that I have zero problems with on an issue I try to find someone I disagree with. My opinion rarely changes but I feel like I might be slightly less biased.
He's an asshole but he's the best asshole out of all of em. Gotta go with lesser evil here.
It's hard to get congress to agree in just one term. If republicans can take back the house and keep the senate, Trump will no doubt be able to deport them all next term.
It's more of a matter of his opponents are always such trash he is untouchable.
If a middle of the road Democrat came along that was pro guns and pro borders and not a complete idiot sycophant creep maybe there would be some kind of wavering
FYI Secret Service only pay the government rate at hotels.....It's a lot less than the hotels would get for the rooms under any other circumstances.
As for renting rooms at Trump DC I doubt it. The hotel only has 263 rooms and it's one of the smallest and cheapest of the Trump properties. It's more for show than making money. You could rent the whole thing for his entire presidency of 8 years and not contribute an dime to his actual bottom line
