Based on what we have learned about this covid-19 situation, I believe we can assume the following:
1) The virus is a serious problem. This isn't 9-11 levels of problem, this is reaching WWII levels of problem. We're looking at major shortages and deaths across the world 2) China is using this virus to its advantage. It's dramatically downplaying numbers, while openly stating that manufacturing (which has largely disappeared from the US due to outsourcing to China) will exist to benefit China at least in the short term 3) The US government is aware of all of this, and is doing it's best to not alarm the public. 4) Things are going to get significantly worse very rapidly, and this will endure for a prolonged period, perhaps as long as 18 months. 5) This will lead to international conflict. As in, at the end of this, there may or may not be a major shift in geopolitical power. 6) There will be millions of deaths in the next two years, some due to the direct effects of covid-19, but many more due to indirect effects.
In response to this, I would recommend everyone do the following: 1) Stock up on food and supplies. Internet, electricity, and water are unlikely to be shut down. 2) Criminals are being released from prison, and arrests are being postponed. Lock your doors and have some form of self-defense. 3) Prepare a backpack filed with important documents, medicine, a few liters of water, power bars, ect, in case an escape is necessary.
This is getting to be very serious. More than the media would want you to believe.
