Anyone else going about their life as if nothing has changed? I mean, they suspended dine-in service where I am, but I never liked eating out anyway. So pretty much nothing has changed for me. Anyone else?

Majority of the people. You're not special

Babylon is burning. Let’s dance in the ashes.

Pretty much the same. Not being able to go to the gym has been pissing me off, though.

It's difficult to eat anywhere else than your mom's basement, isn't it? Asshole

This. Lets get lean user. It's cutting season. Run all day, eat nothing because meat is sold out

I'm not letting crisis actors who are LARPing a flu scare me into not having a life. This is the most made up shit ever.

Nah, it's just that there's nothing enjoyable about being around people such as your fine self, as you so accurately demonstrated here.

I’m trying, but it’s starting to look like that won’t be possible before long. The incredible hysteria is causing chaos on a scale great enough to damage the economy and potentially initiate a “lockdown” in some places. I’m not going to trivialize the virus by saying it’s harmless, but it definitely doesn’t justify this kind of chaos. I blame the fucking media. They always take shit to the next level.

Very true. I really don't care if all the old fags die. We're destroying the economy and the way of life for almost everyone on the planet to save the old fags. Fuck them. It's their time to go if it's their time to go just like any other fucker out there.

Boomers, the generation that just keeps fucking you.

what exactly is chaotic? TP being sold out?

Shut up josh

Make me you dickless faggot.

Dude, my grocery store restocks each morning. By 10 am everything is wiped out. People are getting there right when it opens and buying more than they need. It's bullshit.

well my classes are online now, so that's different I guess, most classes are using online lectures though so I'll still be keeping a similar schedule minus the commute.
I do want to get a haircut and go clothes shopping this weekend though in case those options disappear for on reason or another. I was gonna do it soon anyway but now I'm making sure to do it soon.

As much as i never really experienced it ever, i'm pretty sure hysteria is way way worse than what you describe. Hang on brother.

Eh, I mean, if you lack the problem solving to deal with not having toilet paper, you probably weren't going very far in life anyway.

Everyone falling for (((their))) tricks.

Problem is many people have been ignorant to this.

"Oh its low numbers"
"It's only the flu"
"Won't affect me"

Then 2-3 weeks later, the reality has set in and people understand now this isn't just the flu, and it is affecting them even if they don't have it, and the numbers are increasing exponentially.

And this is down to several country's stupid governments who were shy in spending funds to protect their nation and to limit travel etc.

Now they are forced to spend more, when they could have had tougher border controls, 2 week quarantines in place for people returning to their country to minimise exposure.

And all people had to do was check the information available on it, and to force their leaders to take action.

For example Trump was spending shy on this, thinking it will blow over pretending everything is under control, then one day he came close to catching it (still think he has it, but saying he doesn't, but not making appearances much now) and then he got scared into the reality and begged for 50bn of the relief fund to help control it, which is now too late as it is out of control.

At the same time everybody is being paranoid pointing fingers, thinking this is man made etc. Again that stupid thinking will only make it worse, and of course the panic shoppers who are scared while trying to put on a brave front is also hurting everyone else.

Gonna be blunt I hope the majority of tens of thousands of deaths to come are mostly the ignorant and paranoid, would make the world a better place without them.

And this why pandemics spread. Retards.

cool pasta anyway

My semesters been effectively canceled, i have to move out of my dorm soon. Online classes from this point on. Gonna be lonely

The only real difference is that I have to workout at home and my spring break is now 5 weeks long instead of 4

oh also i lose 50% of my portfolio value in three days, but im a poorfag anyway so fuck it

If you notice it's mostly the old boomers who and the ancient ones who are panicking. The youth has nothing to worry about other than their local fast food chains closing dine in.

A lot of the global conditions the boomers have molded this world into, both physically, culturally and psychologically, make this especially lucrative for the virus to spread.

I find it deliciously ironic. They deserve their fate.

>I don't go outside
>Therefore everything is false

ok bud

See

Less traffic and shorter lines? I could get used to this. But yeah, nothing's really changed on my end...hoping it stays that way and I can continue to work (which luckily isn't in the service-industry).

>Doesn't go outside

Nah faggot. You're the one believing this nigger-news bullshit and staying indoors. I'm the one actually leaving the house because I'm not scared of BigNose FakeFlu

Coronavirus is a Russian ploy to get Trump re-elected.

it is a pretty implementation of a plan to move to a total police state, if there ever was one, though. im not the tinfoil hat type but i can't shake the feeling that we are definitely frogs in increasingly heated water.

besides all these retards buying up sell the toilet paper Imbdoing just fine. i’m actually happy.

I live in the UK. On twitter and reddit you get the impression that society has collapsed, but I go outside and everything is completely normal. Literally nothing has changed. I go to the gym and there are just as many people there, I see people in bars/cafes along the way. I went to the city centre for shopping and there were just as many people there.

Over here the grocery store in our town is being disinfected every day, and seniors are the only ones allowed for the first half of the day.

Lol yeah, that's why you're going to have to say bye bye to hundreds of thousands of loved ones much earlier than necessary.

The only shit changed is the fucking shit paper.
I took this picture today at Kroger. I was shit out of luck.

Viva le shit!

>cutting without lifting or getting enough protein
Enjoy losing your gains

No idea why people find this exercise and action funny, they are preventing it leaving or entering.

While Trump sat and let people in during Jan and Feb and still in March people from Asia are getting into the US.

Life did change here
Schools, bars, clubs are closed, Since courthouses are closed I dont have to work until 4-20
Fuck yes

Nice. Enjoy!

On average, I leave my house around once a week for groceries and usually go weeks without having a conversation with anyone. By the end of this lockdown, most people will have been more active and social than I was before the pandemic.

The only thing that's changed is my inability to buy the groceries that I want, thus increasing my hatred for human beings to the point where I couldn't hate them any more intensely.

Attached: IMG_20200314_193031869.jpg (3000x2996, 1.34M)

Nice, what are you planning to do with that hatred?

Bottle it up and become even more miserable. The usual.

Im Gen X bitch. Being alone, at home watching tv, microwaving some snacks and all. Thats us bitches.

What about when the bottle is full?

Either I have some sort of awakening in which I learn to love people again or I kill myself, I suppose.

Boo. 1/10

Is that you Pinkman? How is Alaska treating you?

you will learn to love people again

All of the local grocers are rapidly running out of all kinds of stock, and people are buying guns and ammo out the ass. It’s like people are gearing up for war or some shit. And everyone is couping themselves up at home. It’s like a ghost town right now. Absolutely rediculous. I’ll be happy when all the panic dies down.

I'll need to see some kind of evidence of this chaos. Everything is pretty much normal.

Normal, minus drinking at bars. I’m unaffected by it

It just depends on where you live. I live in a suburb of Pittsburgh and things are getting a little eerie.

Not user btw

I live in Vegas. They just closed all casinos and tomorrow close all “non essential businesses” for 30 days... this will be interesting

Plenty of empty shelves everywhere. It depends on where you live or shop I guess.
The aftermath is what worries me.

Hello there Mr.Not-FBI.

I am excited personally, I want things to happen. But then again I don't value material things very much. I can imagine if you have a bunch of nice things being scared that others will want them.

Haha, I get watched by the FBI, to be sure.

based

Food service worker here from chicago it will hit you soon. People are already getting laid off here and no one knows when we will be back to business as usual.

Fuck yeah - we survived on steak-ums, absentee parents, post-dated checks taped to the fridge & rusty metal backyard swing sets. This shit is nothing.

I will say I’m currently under “shelter in place” orders in the SF Bay Area & it’s really not so bad. Stores were total chaos yesterday before it went into effect & I heard a lot of people were in lines at grocery stores starting at 5:30am, but that’s just the panic crowd. I said fuck that shit & waited until later today to do my shopping - hit two markets & both were totally fine. More quiet than usual, actually, plus they were almost completely restocked. I got all the fresh fruit, veggies, etc., that I would on a normal shopping trip, went right to the register without any lines & everyone was friendly - even more so than usual, actually.

Went to the beach & surfed, too (healthy lifestyle activities are encouraged). Was like a normal beach day, families out, kids building sand castles, running into friends, etc. Sure, people are keeping reasonable distance, but I gotta say, it’s all good here.

This also happens in Europe. The economical damage because of panicking is much higher than the loss of some human lives would be.

I don’t have any proof of any of this but it’ll probably affect you soon if you live in the states. The panic is spreading faster than the virus it seems. As soon as someone even remotely close to you catches this and it becomes publicized, expect things to start flying off the shelves.

I haven't worked in years. Don't care about food service jobs much either, I have no friends so it won't impact me that way either.

1 person has died from it in my state, 3 people in my county have it, no panic other than TP is gone, which is really nothing.

exponential growth

it is very early in the pandemic

today lets say 50k real infections

50
+1 week at 20% a day (low estimate imo)
179
641
2300
8200
29000

I hope you are right. so you are saying by the 25th shit should be hitting the fan?
