I wish the state would be more active and keep people at home when possible or prevent them from mass meeting / shopping / partying. The more distance the people have, the better.
I live in front of a school and some kids are just playing in front of the school instead of staying home some parents are there as well chattering...

There is only a limited amount of people you can put in quarantine before everything is standing still and most families have the problem, that they can't continue their job normally with an unattended child at home.

Thankfully I've got 3months full expenses covered in savings, so if I get put on the bench, I'll be good for a while. Got about 20 lb of frozen meat, whole lotta canned food. Lots of rice and beans, 18 ct of eggs, some fresh produce, gas stoves, and the ability to cook and purify water without gas/electricity in the event things get *really* bad.
I'm not worried about things coming to that, but I'm glad to be prepared. I secured all. This stuff in pieces over the past months well before the panic set in.

I got enough to eat and drink for roughly 5-6 weeks, nothing special.
The problem currently is that the supermarkets can't hold up to the demand.
I dont think you can prepare for it on the long run since it will go on over months.

Should end up like a wildfire I think. Certain areas will 'burn out' after. a certain point and become relatively 'safe'. I doubt any given place will stay closed longer than a month at a time.
Captchas are rough. I wish they were a hair less aggressive, and I wish we still used text captchas so that we could meme on them.

If a given company can survive one month closed, I theorize it will be okay. That's probably the sink or swim barrier.
It's also on the smaller communities too. Theoretically some companies could sell put "vouchers" to redeem for after they're able to open again, so they can pay rent while closed. It would help mitigate some effects. Not sure if anyone is doing that though.

The company i worked in before was thinly set up and could barely pay the loan every month. Some companies will close.
We were talking about reduced hours but that only moves the problem.
The problem is that there is a varying amount of demand and some stuff can't be imported due to closed borders.
