Crumble more like kys

tell me again how anything won't crumble under stress?

Regulatiions are preventing stores from setting the price to match the demand. TP would be available but one would not feel so inclined to buy 10 packages during a high cost/demand scenario. One would buy as much as one felt they needed at the cost. Also the increased return would feed back in to the production of these products and the supply would meet demand until the cost was brought back down.

The thing causing the glitch is government regulation, not capitalism. If you fail to comprehend that, you're a low IQ commie and always will be.

Beats waiting in line for hours like commies.

w-woah WOAH!!!

are you telling me that if a shit ton of people buy all the supply of a shop the shelves of said store will be empty and you have to wait till next delivery arrives to the shop ??????

WOAHHH!!!

This happens for gas prices, last I checked oil has fallen in half per barrel, but not @ the pump.

You're right, price gouging would totally fix this situation

Communism fixes this problem, those nasty capitalists won't buy out stuff if there is nothing to buy in first place.

Correct, capitalism at its worst is the same as communism every day. Capitalism isn't perfect, it's just better than communism each and every single time.

It's not a claim, its a fact that socialist countries look like this ALL the time. At least with capitalism it only looks like this when under stress, like a pandemic.

Socialism is under pandemic all of the time, because the real virus are the authoritarions sucking up everything from atop.

Look at venezuella

If you're not an economist, nobody wants to hear your opinion on what caused 'the glitch' you faggot.

>implying any kind of government can somehow keep up with a huge increase in demand over the course of just a few days, of which was caused by socialist europoors and communist chingchong bat-eaters spreading a new virus to begin with.

Nice try faggot

"Capitalism" in the middle of a pandemic looks like the norm in socialist economies.

>tries to blame this on capitalism
>it's the liberals panicking and buying tp
>SEE? COMMINIZM WORKS!

the fuck outta here, califag

Spell it correct first.

...how is anything crumbling? People panic bought a bunch of food that will be restocked in a week? Stocks crashed, that will recover in 6 months? Crumble away retard.

It would. What you call "price gouging" is "setting the price at what people are willing to pay"

No stores want full shelves nor do they want empty shelves. They want an even flow of products. Higher prices prevent shelves from being empty. I'd rather pay extra for TP than have none available because someone is taking advantage of fixed prices to fill their garage with shit tickets.

You actually have production drops with socialism. When you take away carrots, people tend to get lazier. That is why socialists are known to kill many people because they have to resort to sticks.

No one would be buying 500 rolls to scalp if it cost 100 dollars for 12 rolls

>B..b...but our socialized healthcare system!!!

As literally everyone does anything they can to get back to the US.

Norway and sweden look like this right now aswell.
We're usually the go to example of wellfare capitalism working and look how that's going.
I'm super left but OP is a dumb af argument.

I may have to wait for another 2 hours while Comrade-san gets to relieve himself, but at least the stores here have literally everything else.

Thanks comrade. We all want to hear your opinion on who is worth hearing.

You just trade one form of the problem for another. In both situations, access to the product becomes severely limited. That can be via exorbitant prices or hillbilly john hording it. You can't actually fix the problem.

you all don't have toilet paper and face masks because we in HK, Singapore, Japan, Korea, China have bought up all the stocks....

Cash is kind and this is a free market... our assholes take priority over you assholes.

Don't get smart with me, I guarantee I'd slap you up and down the street, "comrade".

Coronavirus is not a 'slight' thing tho. Literally biggest epidemic we had in over 100 years.

There's no fairytale solution. One just absorbs it and corrects it faster. There should be advantages to saving for emergencies and those who did so will be wiping their asses until the supply meets the demand and prices go back down.

Media created mayhem, if you go to flyover states and non urban areas. People aren’t panicking and being lunatics like they are in urban areas

u hab bitcoin

I second this

Capitalism:
>Supplies gone do to sudden extreme demand
Socialism:
>Supplies gone because no or very little supply to begin with

>less people in an area = less people panicking
No shit user. That's like saying the electoral college isn't necessary to combat high population vs low population representation.

>capitolism

I guarantee you will never see me near your street. As delightful as it probably is.

>one week with panic buying
>capitalism is collapsing because stores don't have an infinite amount of toilet paper on their shelves
>wait a week for more TP to be on shelves
>rationing at regular prices is far more effective than either gouging or supplying an infinite amount to the first customer

>There's no fairytale solution.
This is my point. The question isn't "which system solves it better" but rather "which parts of the problem do we wish to mitigate?" There are upsides and downsides to both solutions.

This is good for the economy because retailers are selling products even during the manufacturing shutdown. The money is still moving.

If you pay closer attention, you'll notice that it's the liberals that are involved in the vast majority of the panicking.
Being a liberal yourself, you won't see that.

Socialism looks like this as matter of course, not when there's a Global pandemic.

Capitalism in a state of emergency w people buying shit by the crate. That's how socialism looks on the reg

>buy bidet
>laugh at everyone panicking
Feels good bros

According to who? Corona virus hasnt shown anything near the spread of an actual pandemic, so far its infected something like 1% of the total that the common flu has this year, Id say youre just a scared little media bitch with no common sense.

>what is rationing

What a fucking fat American retard you are

how much for bidet pay? can have stocks too?

i dont think capitalism is going to crumble because people think buying toilet paper is going to help the coronavirus

>Pandemic: prevalent over a whole country or the world.
You're an idiot.

Until the next day when they restock

"Late stage capitalism" did someone tell this dude there's a global epidemic going on or..

kys eurocuck commie

How in any way did what I said come off as liberal. And no user, people are panicking regardless because they listen to the media, regardless of political affiliation, unless you have facts to back up fears of the virus associated with political leaning Id say just shut your mouth and stop being an idiot.

No one's visiting your irrelevant town

>mfw I wisely started prepping over 2 weeks ago, so I have everything I need and didn't have to fight an old lady for the last pack of toilet paper

Please cite the evidence supporting the retarded lie you just told.

And as it isnt prevelent over any whole country or the whole world yet, id say youre a dipshit.

The difference is under capitalism those shelves will get restocked.

Supermarkets normally get new stock every 3 days, depends on the size
