What's so good about the gameplay?

I like cowboy games and cowboy aesthetics. But the story was retarded. Gameplay was fun. The story ruined it for me. Dutch acted like an absolute, fucking, utter moron. That really pissed me off. It's as if his IQ dropped by 30 points throughout the span of the game.
