You have to move 360 degrees with very few pixels for error during some of the spell cards so I could understand why people would want a joystick to move around.
But I love my keyboard too much, and the tap tap tap sound it makes.
If you are still new to the series and are trying to figure out what scheme to use I'd say go for a controller with joysticks, and yes keyboard controls that can't be remapped is a crime.
