Also, there are a LOT of people who make pretty low grade CGI porn. I try step up my game, it ends up taking a fair amount of extra time. Overall I definitely can't get near living off it. Think 20-30 bucks a month.

Two years ago I got into it, I just used premade stuff. I make most of my own assets now, that way its not something someone can find somewhere else. I don't have a degree in it, and I would say I am better with some software than I am with others. I can use Zbrush for what I need to do with it, but anything outside my scope and it takes a while to learn.

I get particular when I don't like how something looks. If I make an animation or render and I think its low quality, ill just bury it in my archive and leave it there, usually I won't show it or post it. Most of my animations have been like that, since I haven't been able to dedicate enough

So your best bet to learn to render is grab Blender, its free and easy to use. You can even grab some adult models that someone else made to start with.
Animating isn't too hard, just time consuming and you need an eye for a few things.
There are tricks to cut down on render time but it really isn't hard to get into. Blenderguru on youtube was a huge help for me, though I don't use blender primarily.

Ahh thats called Velus hair! It's actually an illusion.
To make it appear that there is hair, I added a normal map which gives artificial bumps and makes light hit it in a way which makes you think its 3d. Then I scaled down the resolution to make it look like it was done through a cellphone or camera.
