Why are people stockpiling water? Is the corona virus going to cause your local water to be shut down?
Can't you just boil your tap water if it gets contaminated?

What if the tap water stops coming though?
Also boiling water is more expensive then just buying some bottled water. So I get it.
Probabaly the most intelligent comment I’ve ever seen posted on this site. I think the only thing you’d want would be sanitizing wipes, soap, and/or rubbing alcohol/paper towels.
WHY would the tap water stop coming through???
news sites propagating the rumor that the virus travels in the water supply

You do know it works based on water pressure right. If no one maintains the water pressure it wont come through.
Or did you think water just magically appears in your tap.
>"maintains the water pressure"
dumbass, I used to be a plumber. City water is often (and in my particular case) supplied by GRAVITY. Ever seen a water tower? The water is slowly pumped up and then gravity maintains "pressure" which is not actually pressure but weight.
Why would this stop in a virus outbreak situation???????

And you actually believe this shit?
Because people are just paranoid. Their water supply can't get contaminated by it and even if it could whatever treatment it goes through would kill it. It's the same people who are stocking up on those cheap paper face masks.
