because boomers were brainwashed into believing hedonistic and greed were desirable qualities and supported usury and other policies that ended up destroying their countries and their children's future. Many of them also fail to grasp the concept of inflation which also caused wages to remain stagnant while cost of living has increased exponentially, but "millennials are lazy and irresponsible UNLIKE ME. When i was there age I made $4/hr and was happy!". Yet since the time they were in young adulthood costs of education, housing, etc has gone up 10x when you factor the dollar's buying power. The "I got mine" attitude fucked everything over. They pretend the world is the same as it was when they were growing up, not realizing they turned a paradise into a dystopian nightmare that looks nice at the surface level.
Whats also hilarious though is talking to them about their retirement. Many of them are starting to realize how fucked the economy really is as they start to live on fixed income.

Lets take me as an example: I left university because I got a good job offer, and now I earn the most money compared to all my friends and other people I know at my age. So here I could say to anyone else: Why didn't you do as I did?
But the thing is, that not everyone can do my job, there are other important jobs as well. Important jobs, that are paid shitty. But these jobs have to be done by someone. And those people have to earn enough to live, because if they stop doing these shitty jobs, I also stop earning money, because they're my customers.
You get what I mean? You can always say "Your own fault, you could work as something else", but if everyone becomes a doctor for example, where u get your food from?
People shouldn't earn the same, but everyone who works full time should earn enough to live and to pay basic healthcare.

its hard when the system is rigged against you. I have a degree, professional certifications, and a real job. Sadly my field, which is a necessary one that actually contributes a lot to society, pays like shit. My job pays ~$45k/year, and its not as simple as "just move lol". I have, several times to about 6 different states. The problem is once you invest in a career you don't have the luxury of time, and mainly MONEY to change. My dad had a similar job right out of highcshool. On his wage he was able to afford a home, a car, children, a yearly vacation, and hobbies. Cost of living and taxes destroy the vast majority of my income.
Its easy to talk shit online about how entitled millineals are and how they blame everyone else. The reality is so far from that though. The only people in my generation I know that own houses were trust fund baby's or were military vets that used the VA loan.
