our homeless are much more wealthy than a medieval king

Attached: 84611588_1038706553174216_9188245840097968128_n.jpg (600x412, 63.43K)

Attached: 1578325362578.png (899x965, 1.25M)

yeah they can afford sick drugs and be trippin

they may have more dollars, but far less wealth than a medieval king

Attached: autho.jpg (524x499, 53.61K)

where the fuck did a peasant go on vacation?

>So this is the life in the United States of America

Nah, because medieval peasants had longer work hours

Are you autistic? Homeless people are fucking poor. Kings had all the wealth they could need.

Attached: big_1471518288_image.jpg (500x994, 79.84K)

Uh he also lives to be 80 and doesn't burry half his children every winter

As if vacation time is a benchmark we want to use to measure the standard of life between a medieval peasant and modern American citizen. Excellent juxtaposition OP I’m convinced

Religious days, I suppose

He doesn't understand the difference between wealth and being rich. You're going to have to explain that shit to him first.

How else am I gonna buy an Xbox and make my in-laws proud?

Attached: cantdoit.jpg (1013x926, 255.19K)

Accurate

Attached: firstthey.png (684x2740, 339.57K)

Nowhere they just had fuck all to do several months every year because they were medieval farmers

Attached: ifitpleases.jpg (1080x1080, 219.68K)

they had piles of a metal they could do little with

mean while even our homeless have a computer they can fit in to there pocket

To the water mill idiot. It's literally Disneyland of the 1300s

>rules are bad
literal retard

Attached: peasantthinking.png (640x585, 490.53K)

Either trolling or outright spastic.

Kings had piles of money, endless women, endless food, shelter, warmth, whatever the fuck they wanted.

Homeless live on the streets under piles of garbage and don't have phones. What the fuck is a street bum gonna do with a phone and no money?

Attached: retards.jpg (2000x1125, 250.7K)

lol do you think that's the point of the image, really?

the message boils down to that, yes.

>historically illiterate detected

>Homeless live on the streets under piles of garbage and don't have phones
The homeless in seattle set up a beer keg and music, they have phones too.

> don't have phones
simply wrong

> endless women, endless food, shelter, warmth

also mostly wrong the world was not connected and all of these things were limited by physical movement and availability

pick up a history book many kings died from starvation money does not protect you from a bad harvest and it wasnt just the kind who suffered but his whole kingdom

mean while in modren day even if you have 50 cents in your picket you can get more than a king would have regular accesses to

weath does not just mean they money in your pocket

without spending any money you already are doing beter than a king did back than just by living in a first world country

It seems the problem here is that some don't understand the difference between being rich, and being wealthy. Being rich means you have resources. Being wealthy means you have the resources and the connections/competence to turn those resources into more resources. Also: rich and wealthy are not static definitions. They rely on a comparison to everyone else. If everyone else is able to afford a home, and you don't, then you're poor. If everyone did own a home, but some couldn't afford a car, then those who couldn't afford a car would be considered poor.

if you live in your car than you have something more valuable than a kings fortune

i just doesnt feel that was because we are in a world where most people have that

in before same fag claim despite it being impossible

I took 2 days last year and I get weekends off so im pretty good

The average American lives like a king compared to a medieval peasant.

this was already brought up and someone is sperging like crazy at the idea

Probably the forest

I disagree, I think the message is that for a non-ruler, the structure of society is similar. You still need permission from someone you may or may not recognise as legitimate to do things.

Sorry, mispost.

The thread was a spergfest from the initial post.
The article this thread is based on is a spergfest.
It was written by a privileged woman looking for a reason to get clicks. How much more cringey can this possibly get?

this is the exact opposite of how hospitals work. they have to treat you no matter what, no matter your insurance, no matter how many people you just killed before shooting yourself, no matter how many hospitals you just burned down.

Absolutely clueless. I think you should be the one picking a history book up

>no rebuttable
>acts like he won

nice try stupid

5 days a week, 52 weeks a year... how can someone slave their life away like this?

yes thats right, and needing permission from someone higher up is nothing but a rule in the end. so my post still stands.

you do know game of thrones isnt the real world, right?

a medieval king would own all the land, have serfs to harvest them, while collecting taxes on his knights and nobles, that is wealth. 50 cents cant get you fuck all now adays you fucking boomer.

>a medieval king would own all the land
wrong.

>collecting taxes on his knights and nobles
wrong.

middle ages were nothing like your pop-science docu from the history channel makes you think it was.

so feudalism is a big lie?

Homelessfag reporting. Posting from my galaxy S10+ in the back of my SUV.

To be fair, though, I'm one of those full time working homeless.

Went to Chicago to visit cousins for christmas they literally all got christmas eve and christmas day off then back to work I was baffled. In UK pretty much most people get from Christmas eve to New years day off, paid as well and generally not massively taken out of their holiday allowance.

Im self employed so it doesnt apply to me but still.....

Attached: 53a0a9d2ec2a3_-_cos-01-ryan-gosling-notebook-beard-de.jpg (720x480, 55.58K)

kind of. it was never practised anywhere in its "pure" form and was heavily influcened by ancient local and roman tradition. its basically just a fighting word from revolutionary france.

No, your post said I implied that rules were bad, when I did no such thing. You re-making your claim into something else is moving the goalposts.

ok boomer, you might want to recheck your history books.

Fuck you.

>right-wingers actually believe this

Ok boomer
I’d much rather be a medieval king than a homeless person, wtf are you talking about

Boomer logic

Most of the land was owned by the Kings vassals rather than the King, no?

almost all of those rules only apply in certain locales of the US, because of our federal system

they also work far less hours

another proof about usa not beeing a first world country

prove me wrong, then.

ITT: Americans don't understand what feudalism was

But they do apply, which is the point. It can't work differently because without structure we'd all go North Somalia. But people have this fantasy where we're all so very far from medieval structures and its barbary when actually we're not that different. The process of who comes into power is different, but for the regular fucks like me and you (well maybe not you user, I don't know you), the situation isn't much different. Less violent etc but that's magnitudes within the same structure.

>your post said I implied that rules were bad
because thats exactly what happened. needing a permission to go fishing is a rule, and bitching about these rules is implying they are bad. i dont see how this is moving the goalpost.

Did the King give them 2 weeks paid vacaton? They were soooo lucky.

To be fair, they didn't have to put up with that shit for half a millennium either. I mean it's part of most places history, but the US as a country never had to do the whole song and dance for their uppers in the same way. They had the whole colonial Britain thing, but by then it was a parliament already if I remember correctly.

The fundamental difference between democracy and rule of King is you're meant to be able to decide who rules you in a democracy.

Still, ultimately no "king" either literally or metaphorically means you're just gonna get your shit taken by someone else, or amass a force big enough to protect your shit and thus become the very "king" you supposedly hated.

I wish people would bitch less about the concepts of rules and rulers and put more energy into make sure that the rules and rulers are actually fair and work for the most amount of people.
