It was just a big show like they were hoping someone in the crowd would suddenly get up and run out so they could have there man.

If they released all relevant images and video it's likely the killer would be found sooner.
I wonder if any curious people ever go by this town just to see the area of the murders and see if any of the townspeople look similar to the man in the photo.
