You know how stupid Americans are when they think they only 2 parties you should vote for are Republicans and Democrats.

But if they mass voted for 2 new parties for the final leg of the process, that means when a new party takes over and new party was the loser, then in 2 years the senate and congress would be completely removed and new blood instilled and better yet no Corporate control like there has been since the 80s.

That means no frivolous spending, more funds for actual public services, rejuvenating towns and cities which will encourage businesses and promote employment.

Less wasted cash on military budgets that do very little except make fighter jets that will hardly be used or sold to other nations. Which means the money can be used on health care to reduce costs for people so they will have affordable coverage both insured or uninsured.

And most importantly the world would take the US more seriously and not see the US as a laughing stock as it is now.

I am sure the butthurt bois will post the stupid jealous of US rubbish, which nobody is, but they deserve to be angry if they don't understand what is going on with their own political system and how bad their economy is (while screeching "MAH GDP" like they understand but dont').

You would need most of the US behind it, voting for 2 different parties.

Using social media you could easily reach about 70% of the voters, if they split half and half each to 2 new parties then the Repubs and Demos have no chance.

If that happened, it would be a good day for the US, and a long stupid 2 party system only would be gone and change would happen on a massive scale. Corporations will be shitting themselves as would banks, because they know the days of buying favours would be gone as is their mass rebate from Corporate Tax which is only 1.5% of the GDP compared to 10.5% as it should be.

Candidates in the US join one of the two parties because it gives them more recognition and higher chances of being elected. Not because it's the closest to their ideas.

If Bernie run with a party that matches his positions best, he'd probably run in the Socialist Party or with the Greens, or just as an independent. But doing so highly decreases his chances of being seen as a legitimate candidate. How many people heard of Jill Stein before she won the Green Party primaries in 2012? Not many.

Maybe the reason he didn't dominate is that most of his support are young people who don't turn up to vote. Although maybe the polls already accounted for that and he still was by far the front runner, in which case I guess the reason really was the centrists dropping out and endorsing him.

You misunderstand why the US is a 2-party political system. It's an outgrowth of our "first past the post" election system -- minor parties are starved of oxygen because you have to get over 50% somewhere to get any elected officials at all -- but in the face of this fact, morons who run the current crop of fringe parties insist on wasting resources on running Presidential candidates, where they have zero fucking chance.

Wanna grow a new party? Pick a couple of districts where you can recruit a good candidate and concenttate your resources electiong a couple of cngressmen -- or even some members of a legislature somewhere, if thatis as far as your resources will stretch. Learn how to run winning campaigns, get some experienced candidates and officeholders in the pipeline for the future.

It might not work, if your message is stupid. But trying to build a party from the top down definitely will not work -- look at the Libertarians! The BEST they have ever done is a hair over 3% of the vote, in a year with the two candidates with the highest negatives on their name ID ever representing the major parties.
