I tried. The sky was a little more purple earlier, but if you look at the buildings, you can still see where everything has a lavender cast to it. it's like the purple has gone from the sky to kind of tinting everything.

I posted the sky before sunset. here in the USA. Here is things after. My phone sucks so I had to fix the oversaturation a little.

Sky is literally pitch black right now. The sun set within 15 minutes and suddenly it was black out. Not even the cast from the city lights against the clouds. It's like it's eating the light.
