jesus christ this was terrible. i hate these fucking lazy documentaries that have no thru line, it's just letting their subjects ramble without challenging anything they say or asking them anything thought provoking. i physically cringe thinking about how the director probably was telling them "ok lets get a shot of you sitting up against this wall at this shitty motel, make sure you take a puff from your cigarette and look sad". the fucking twins were the worst and had absolutely no self-awareness showing off their guns as if that wouldn't obviously make them out to look like lunatic school shooters.
the movie tries to be philosophical, but again, just letting these self absorbed retards ramble ended up having no point beyond extremely shallow statements about "loneliness in the age of technology". the fat guy from nyc was the only one of them who seemed even remotely interesting or worth listening to, but you don't live in an expensive city like nyc unless you're at least somewhat successful or have people to lean on. he even basically admits at the end that despite looking the worst of the bunch he still does ok with the ladies and he's basically just larping.
this shit was hopeless from the start, the only people willing to go on camera for something like this are narcissists who just want to be in a movie/on tv. the only way a movie like this could actually be good/accurate is if it was made by someone who actually spend a lot of time here, not someone who bases their entire opinion about Yas Forums/incels off of second hand sources through twitter
