This, even the "well it'll dry up the supply" arguments are retarded. So you effectively completely disarm law abiding people, meanwhile criminals, even if firearms were harder to get, would still have the advantage with knives, clubs, etc. Lawful ownership and carry of firearms is the only equalizer, and even then it's not. Any restriction on capacity or type of firearm is inherently giving the advantage to criminals and by supporting such restrictions means that you value the life of a criminal aggressor over the life of a victim.
