Angel Egg is literally just a meaningless visual art experiement. I couldn't recommend it unless you enjoy delving into pure aesthetics and abstraction. I personally enjoyed it though.

Ergo Proxy is cool if you like its aesthetic and ambience, besides episode 1 it really isn't confusing, there are like 3 episodes of lore dump so you literally cannot say you don't ''get'' the show

What's your point? These shows are all good and have more artistic merit than any of the generic, cheaply made CGI filled, fanservice-y swill made today. I don't even especially like anime or find it particularly appealing, these just happen to be interesting, impactful, well produced works of fiction anyone with an IQ above room temperature can enjoy.
